Sherlock Holmes movie

yesterday, it was blackout again
when knowing this, my bro asked me to accompany him to buy something for his gundam
so, when we arrived in a mall near my dorm house, we saw cinema posters showing what movies played that day.

bro: "whoah... there's Sherlock Holmes movie!"
me: "aah.. i just remembered! it's Dec, 30th today!"
bro: "okay, let's watch it!"
me: "eh? uhm.. okay! (in my mind: "what about ur gundam stuff?")

so we went to cinema and saw Holmes and Watson

well, actually i don't read many sherlock holmes' novel. maybe just 2 or 3 books.
yet, Holmes in movie has really different image to Holmes in novel (let's say in my imagination?)
i mean, he (in movie) is sure really good in fighting and a really sloppy man.
yet, a sloppy man makes this movie has humor too.
uhm, maybe he (in novel) is just in my imagination
however, i'm amazed how great he is when he planned what he should do to capture his enemies. whoaaah..

and about Watson
i imagined that he's a big man! ahaha
i dunno why i imagined like that
yet, my bro had d same mind
well, maybe we thought another man

when i saw this movie, i thought i had seen another Robert Downey Jr's movie. when i looked for his filmography (i searched it a moment ago), i knew that he is Tony Stark in Iron Man!!! whooooaaah....

well, i recommend u to watch Sherlock Holmes movie if u havent (in Indonesia, yesterday was first played in cinema). that's okay if u dunno him from novel (well, it's kinda pitty for me :p) since d whole story is new.
for u who already read d novel, maybe u will find d different Holmes like me (or maybe not :p).

ps: after saw this movie, in fact my bro still remembered about d gundam stuff. he bought glue for his gundam (i don't understand why he didn't use ordinary glue :p) and bought a Gundam Exia with GN particle bla..bla..bla.. (i watched d anime, yet i don't remember all gundam names)

Today's Blackout

this post just told about what i did today when blackout


it's blackout all day today, from around 10am to 7.30pm

it's hols now n actually i didn't have any plan to do
just stayed at home
yet, it was blackout! great! -__-

to kill time (we thought it would just in few hours-->we=my bro, sis, n i) we decided to watched nodame cantabile from my laptop (i love u, darling! )
after four hours (well, it was still blackout), it ran out of energy! aaaarggh....
glad, my bro n i have d same type laptops XD
so, we had another battery!
happily, we watched nodame till d end. however, it was still blackout. zzz...

then, we saw phantom ~requiem for the phantom~. well, from classical music, we moved to bloody assassination.
we watched it until 4 hours passed. man, where's d electricity! it's already 8 hours blackout! grrrr...
d 2nd battery ran out of energy too. too bad, we don't have d 3rd
then, we did nothing more than an hour...
presto! d electricity is on now!

in music player, on setting part, i've chosen 'show lyric'-->on
then, in d song, in comment part (right click->properties->details->comment) i've put d lyric
yet, d lyric doesn't appear

good morning, guys!

wew. my last post was last month! i guess i'll what happened this month :D

mid-term test is already passed. from 6, got 5 A's and a B. lol, i was really surprised when i saw that! i just prepared for the test d day before :P hahahaha

hmm.. now i already get along well with my dorm house mate. well, there are 2 mates, yet the other's rarely here. she spends night more in her friends' dorm. d one whom i get along with studies in d same major with me too. so we can study together. sometimes we goes to cinema and shopping.

however, the big news is............ i cut my hair!!!! actually i just wanna cut my long hair lil bit. yet, i get it cut short!! omg.. i was shocked. i even texted my lil sis n i sent her my pic. glad, she said it was okay, so i was a bit relax. fiiiuuuh.......

on d next day, all my friends were surprised seeing my new hair. they said kind like 'u stress, dont u?' ckckckckck... meanie yet there were 2 friends who like my new hair :D hehehehe hearing their words made me believed that i could continue my life *lol, it's just a symbol :p *

anyway, it's Muharram New Years now. then there'll be Christmas and New Years Eve. happy holiday!!!!!

good day!

lately, i love listening to classical music cz watching La Corda d'Oro. i decided to watch this anime after seeing Nodame Cantabile. since it's about classical music too, i watched La Corda d'Oro and fell in love with Tsuchiura (♥_♥) kyaaaa~~~

because i don't know much about classical music, i just listened to d ones which are played in La Corda d'Oro. my...... i wish i could play an instrument (*´ο`*)=3

i've just finished watching Gundam 00 2nd season! whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah....... that's cool! :D

It isn't d End

yesterday, i read Chiken Soup for the College Soul . i bought it on last Friday. i love read this book, yet this book is d first book i bought (i usually borrow these series, lol XD)

there's a story which is really like my experience. d title is "The Winner is...". the writer told that he/she always dreamed to study in his/her favorite college. yet, he/she couldn't. in d end, he/she studied in another college. however, he/she kept study hard, got good score, and worked a job he/she liked.

Evans, the writer, said on his story that he/she considered to transfer to another college which was better. yet, Evans didn't do it. he thought, if he transfered, he would leave his friends and lessons.

whoaah... i've similar experience. i mean, now i studied not in college i dreamed several times :p. actually i like my college now. i get many good friends. i don't much problem in my study (for now :p). i take computer science now. however what i want study is environmental engineering. i consider to take college admission test next year. yet, when i read "The Winner is...", i'm not really sure what i wanna do. there's no prove i'll pass d test. there's no prove i'll get friends as good as i have now. there's no prove i'll enjoy my study in new course.

study in private isn't an end to get successful future. both my older siblings studied in private college, yet they r success. see? *sigh* what should i do? continue my study here or take d admission test next year?

Beautiful Nite

last nite, a friend told me that there would be meteor shower on 2AM Oct 22nd,2009. what?! (O.o) meteor shower?! whoaaah... i have to see it! he told me that we could see it without obstacle. cool..

so, i set my alarm on 1:45AM and hoped i would wake up. i woke up and surprised that my lil sis didn't sleep (i told her about meteor shower, she was excited too even didn't sleep at all! lol XD). so we went outside d house and hoped that d nightguard wouldn't pass our home. we didn't want him thinking that we are thiefes! lmao what a stupid thinking :p it was around 2AM.

the sky was so clear. on the southeast we saw Orion constellation. then we saw some stars which look like moving fast. wow! is it shooting star? we conlude yes, it is since we went out just to see that show: meteor shower

Earthquake Phobia

wew. there were many earthquakes happened in Indonesia lately. earthquakes happened in Tasikmalaya(Sept 2nd,2009), West Sumatra(Sept 30th,2009), and Ujung Kulon(Oct 16th,2009). errr.. it happened too in Sulawesi but i forget when it did.

from 3 earthquake i mentioned, just two i felt: in Tasikmalaya and in Ujung Kulon. well, i don't live in those center of earthquake, yet i could feel it from my house (i live in West Java). earthquake in Tasikmalaya is d hardest earthquake i've ever felt. i shocked even couldn't move my leg to go outside . that 7.3 Ritcher scale earthquake was really awful. my friend who studied in Jatinagor (it's near from Tasikmalaya) was really scared if there would be tsunami. glad, it didn't happen.

earthquake in Ujung Kulon wasn't really hard in my home, yet i was more careful whether it would became harder n i was ready to go outside. lol XD my discrete math lecture said that it happened when she was in Binus University (err...it's where i study now). whoaah.. everybody was panic!

really, those two earthquakes make me scared. yesterday, when i took laboratory asisten admission test, i felt a small earthquake . it happened less than a minute n only three people felt it: me and friend who sat beside and in front of me. today, i dreamed about earthquake. what a nightmare! well, actually it happened when i took a nap :p. anyway, is it earthquake phobia's syndrom?

Batik Day

Batik is approved as Indonesian heritage by UNESCO today in Abu Dhabi. it's sure a great news! Government decide that today is Batik Day. everybody wears batik. even people on tv wear batik too! lol XD glad finally i can see many people wear batik beside at school and wedding party!

Together

Ramadhan this year is very special. Indonesia government and Muhammdiah decided d first day of Ramadhan on d same day n so does on first day of Syawal. yeah! so this year, all moslems in Indonesia start and finish d fast together

this year become more special because my family will go to vacation! lol XDD our last vacation was many years ago. tomorrow, after Ied pray, we'll go to airport and head to Batam. from Batam, we'll voyage by ferry boat to Tanjung Pinang. Tanjung Pinang has many islands, however our destination is Pulau Penyengat (Penyengat Island). we'll visit my mom's brother whom i've never met before. soo, i'll visit new place and meet new ppl :D awesome!

Meeting Buddies

today is soooooooo fun!!!!
my friends and i broke fasting together. yay! i was sooo happy they are my good friends since we were in 1st year in senior high school. we continued our study in different cities like Yogyakarta, Malang, Surabaya, Bandung and some of us in Jakarta.

we were sure really noisy today.
glad, in Uci's home, there's nobody except us!
we talked a lot and shared our experience in student orientation and what we were doing when earthquake happened.
wahahaha everything was sooo fun, hearing what my friends study in college since we take different majors.

we also watched Boys Before Flower too. kyaaa..!! looking at that 4 cute boys sure makes us scream! XD we screamed even louder when watching TVXQ's video. lol XD of course, today was closed by photo session.

Before It's too Late

yesterday, my family went to Cimahi, Bandung to visit my grandpa. well, actually my mom is his niece so that's why i call him grandpa. he got stroke about 6 months ago n it was d first i visited him after he got stroke.

last time i saw him, i remembered about a healthy old man. i mean, he's already old (dunno how old he is) yet he looked great! it was surprising seeing him on wheelchair now. he can't move his right foot n speak well. i hope he'll better soon.

seeing him when he was praying maghrib is really touching. he said d pray out loudly n sometimes his daughter (my aunt, i mean) helped him if he forgot. he prayed "Ya Allah, my God. i believe that everything comes from you so does this sickness. i believe You will take this sickness away. amin"

omg, seeing him praying maghrib loud and prayed like that make me realize that our life is really precious. it doesn't mean that just d old ones who have to pray. we, d youth, have to pray too. although i'm not really religious, i think it's important to pray by your heart not just because it's a must.

My Teaching Experience

yesterday, i read my junior's note in facebook. she wrote about her experience when she taught in elementary school. in my senior high school, the 12th year moslem students have to teach primary students in Pesantren. hmm.. pesantren is a school to learn Islam. if you go to public school, you'll get pesantren every year on Ramadhan. reading her writting about her experince, it's kinda nostalgic for me :P

when i was in my 12th year, hearing that i would teach primary students didn't make me happy at all. me? teaching in pesantren??? what the..

on the first day, i left home without any enthusiasm . the school which i would teach is an old building. there weren't many students in my class although the 5th and 6th year students already were in the same class.

what made me suprised that they looked forward to this pesantren! they welcomed us (me and my friends) happily n listened d lesson seriously. on d last day, we gave them children magazines and stationaries. wow! their face were glowing seeing those simple presents!

when i taught there, i wondered how i was when i was in elementary. did i enjoy Pesantren that much?

Nodame Cantabile [updated]

last week, i found Nodame Cantabile DVDs' which i borrowed from my friend. she (my friend, i mean) loves this anime so much n recommended me to watch it. well, i already knew this anime loooong time, but usually forget to download it, lol.

i just finished the two seasons in 3 days (well actually i could finish it sooner)! wow! i love this anime! i wish i could play an instrument TT.TT

there's a man named Chiaki Shinichi. he's a pianist who studies in Momogaoka Academy. although this perfectionist is good at violin too, he's ambition is being a conductor. too bad, his phobia to plane and sea don't let him to study in Europe.

one day, he listens to Noda Megumi's piano playing. Nodame, that's what she's called, can play piano without reading d music score, just listening to d music. Chiaki is amazed with her play and shock with her super messy room.

what will happen when they are together? basicly, this anime tells how Chiaki can be a conductor, Nodame will be a great pianist, and of course, their love story.

my comment:
it's full of music! although you don't like classical music, i still recommend this anime to you. Chiaki the perfectionist and Nodame the messy girl will give us funny anime! lol XD

1st Day

finally, after doing nothing about two months, i studied again yesterday! yay! new students, new class n of course, new friends!
i thought i would be difficult to find friends there. yet, it isn't! people there were nice!

my first class, English, went smooth. although i hadn't got my student card yet, so i got a little problem with absence =_="
d second class was okay too yet it's a bit boring coz it took 3 hours. zzzz....

d great news is...
today is holiday! :DD

omg it's September already.
it's pitiful i just wrote 2 posts in August.
actually i did many on August, yet i just didn't feel wanna write it.
i went to Padang to take uni's admission test n i failed (again).
*sigh* it wasn't a wonderful month for me

however, it's September now!
i decide to enter private university in Jakarta.
i'll study about information engineering.
well, actually i wanted to take environment engineering but i wanna learn it in public univ. hahaha
so i just give up n take other major! XD

Merah Putih

Indonesia's Independence Day is two days ago. however, to celebrate it, yesterday my friends and i went to d cinema and saw a movie Merah Putih. many ppl talked about this movie since it's been loooong time that Indonesian movies are all just about kuntilanak and friends :P

actually, i seldom watch Indonesian movies coz many movies will be played on tv in the following year. yet, when i read news about this movie that some foreigners from hollywood worked on this movie too, so the effect won't be that cheap, i was interested to watch it. hehehe i was surprised too when i heard Lukman Sardi played in this movie too! whoaaah... although i'm not an Indonesian movie freak, i know him! i was amazed when i saw him in Dewi "Dee" Lestari's song: Malaikat Juga Tahu. man, he's a star!

hey, there are many awesome actors beside Lukman Sardi in Merah Putih! you'll also see Darius Sinathrya, Donny Alamsyah, Zumi Zola, and T. Rifnu Wikana. they are awesome in this movie! i personally amazed by Donny Alamsyah's act. it's cool hearing his Manado dialect :D

Merah Putih is the first movie of Trilogi Merdeka. it's about the young ppl who become soldiers to preserve Indonesia's Independence. you'll see how they see many different things among them. maybe some ppl will think that it's just an ordinary drama. for me, after watching this movie, i feel kinda like want to shout "MERDEKA!!"

like i've told u before, some people from Hollywood work on this movie too. so, it's really great seeing such d effect in Indonesian movie, lol XD. i really look forward to the two sequels. i hope there will be another Indonesian movies with same or greater (hopefully) quality in d future. aah, btw, watching this movie makes me wanna learn cinematography in college :P
